Queen's Award Tea Celebration

Representative Deputy Lieutenant for London Borough of Ealing presents volunteers with Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Richard Kornicki Esq CBE DL the King’s Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Ealing attended an afternoon tea celebration at the Centre and presented our volunteers with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service Badge. The award is equivalent to the MBE and is the highest award that can be made to voluntary groups. Mr Kornicki congratulated the volunteers for their work in the community and the wonderful achievements made by the Charity. Amongst the hundreds of volunteers who support the Charity we were able to invite 80 to the celebration. Alongside our treasured volunteers, guests included The Mayor of Ealing and her Consort, Councillors and supporters of the Charity.

The team will receive their official plaque at a formal event at the Tower of London in the next month.
