We were delighted to host taster Kayaking sessions on the Grand Union Canal this month with the Edge Kayaking Club from Brentford. We invited local residents and Charity volunteers to the sessions. Each session lasted about 1 hour giving them a chance to experience canal life. The sessions were very successful with a real buzz of excitement and an additional 30 enquiries on the day.
The sessions were a great opportunity for the team to gauge interest from the Hanwell community, understand logistically how it will work and also get a greater understanding of which boats and equipment would be best for use on the canal.
