Have you got any phones, laptops or tablets, etc. that you don't need?
William Hobbayne Charity helps a local volunteer who refurbishes donated surplus laptops, computers and & phones to give to people in need. The priority is to assist people in Hanwell and Ealing on benefits or Income Support, people who are unemployed, students who qualify for free school meals, refugees and asylum seekers.
In the last year, he was able to pass vital equipment on to over 50 people. This has given them vital access to information they need, including about jobs, Social Services and other agencies, and has helped them get in touch with distant families and friends.
The donated equipment gets a factory reset, and all discs and phones are wiped to military standards. This protects donors’ personal information. The machines are cleaned, upgraded if needed, and brought back to full working order. They are then given to those who need them most.
Nothing is sold.
Please note that this is not a repair service, it is a request for equipment that you or your office no longer need. Any unwanted computers, phones, keyboards, mice, flat screens, etc. that you want to give can be put to good use or recycled.
Please email info@williamhobbaynecharity.co.uk if you think you have anything that you might want to donate. We will pass your details on and then someone will get back in touch. Any support is most welcome.

This work makes a genuine improvement to people's lives.
