In our October blogs, we highlighted the incredible work of a local volunteer who refurbishes surplus laptops, computers, and phones. With the support of the William Hobbayne Charity, many of these devices are distributed to families in Hanwell, helping to bridge the digital divide in our community.
This kind of work often happens quietly behind the scenes, and the time and effort involved is not always fully appreciated. We would like to recognise our wonderful volunteer and the difference this project can make to people in Hanwell.
We are delighted to share an update to our original post—featuring a lovely testimonial from a very happy recipient.
“Thanks so so much a family collected the macbook pro for me as unwell. It is incredibly and feel like a king. I'm so grateful and overwhelmed with joy which has had a big impact on my mental health so thanks so so much . Is there any site on internet to leave a review as it's amazing and people like you are rare theses day's and given up alot of time to help people in need says so much about the type of person you are. The charity organizations you work with are very lucky to have you again thanks so much from the bottom of my heart and sincerely . This is already affecting my life in a good and positive way. I wish you the best luck and good thing's to you . You deserve a reward in every way possible. All my best wishes for now and the future thanks”
